also i have never once ordered a waffle at a mario batali restaurant, and i have never worn sunglasses inside except in 1983 when i had pink eye.  and, call any restaurant in NYC and ask them if, a] i am a customer, and b] if i have ever, once, tipped less than 20%.  i have not.  if anything, i’m too glommy on waiters and waitresses.  anyone who says otherwise is a sad liar.  so there, tell that to the internet, please.     signed, michael stipe.  also i hate dick cheney for getting us into this whole economic mess.
